DIFFERENTLY. explores the ideas, people and experiments changing how humans live, learn, work and build the future. We are interested in progress, but equally interested in asking what progress actually means.

Technology can liberate us or consume our attention. Economic growth can create abundance or deepen inequality. Education can expand human potential or constrain it. Convenience can give us time or quietly remove our independence.

DIFFERENTLY. exists to explore those tensions. Because the future isn’t something that simply happens to us. We participate in building it.

The publication is founded and edited by Tamryn Sherriffs, a South African writer, speaker and entrepreneur whose work has repeatedly explored alternative ways of living, learning, working and building.
